18thc re-veneered yew wood chest of drawers
An 18th century and later re-veneered yew wood oyster chest of drawers
The top consists of a yew wood segmented veneered top using yew wood oysters, the design created by geometric boxwood stringing with yew wood banding to the outer edge.
This leads down to two small over three long graduated drawers with oak linings and brass drop handles.
The drawers fronts are of geometric design with yew wood oysters and boxwood stringing.
The side panels are oak with a circular design of boxwood stringing.
The chest of drawers stands on four bracket feet and is in very good condition.
This chest of drawers dates from the mid 18th century but due to changing fashions over the years has been re-veneered at a later date.
